CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in is at 3pm.
Check-out is at 11am.
Early check-in is not permitted. If you will be arriving in the area early, please make arrangements until your site opens up at 3pm, we do not have a waiting area for those checking in early. Late check-ins can be accommodated, please contact the main office for instructions.
Please check-in online before you arrive. You should receive a check-in email before your stay begins to confirm your reservation, pay any outstanding balances, accept the Terms and Conditions and add your license plate number and make/model of your car. You still need to let the office know that you have arrived.
All reservations must have a credit card on file. No exceptions will be made. We do have a machine in store that can be used for payment, however a card must always be on file. We are a cashless facility and will not accept any cash payment for reservations, store purchases or services. Any charges will be billed directly to the card saved on your reservation at the time the service was requested or the day the service was provided. Great Canadian Campgrounds Inc. reserves the right to charge the card on file for any outstanding payments.
You do not need to contact the office at check-out.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Credits are offered at Great Canadian locations and are subject to specific cancellation policies. Refunds may be offered and are subject to specific cancellation policies and will only be applied back to your original method of payment.
A full credit for cancellations will be provided and saved in your client portal and can be applied at any point in the future, the credit never expires. It's very important to us that families receive full value for what they've paid for. Between all the locations and services we offer each season, we’re confident you'll be able to make use of your credit in the very near future. Credits are not transferable.
Cancellations made at least 30 days in advance will be subject to an administrative fee of $30+hst. A credit will be provided for all reservations canceled within 30 days of your arrival date.
SITE LOCATIONS & TENT ACCOMMODATIONS
All site numbers are subject to change prior to arrival unless a site lock fee was paid with your reservation. All certified RV types are permitted unless prevented by specific site constraints. Tents and conversion vans are only permitted on designated tent sites. Only one pup tent may act as a secondary unit on a site at the discretion of Great Canadian Campgrounds as site size allows. Dining canopy tents are permitted but may not be up in conjunction with a pup tent. Sites must be cleaned up of garbage and debris prior to departure. Additional charges may result for sites requiring additional cleaning.
SEASONAL & OVERNIGHT MEMBERS
SEASONAL FEES
Our seasonal rates range from $5,999 - $6,999 (+HST) depending on which site you choose. All sites include hydro, water, sewer pump-outs once per week and visitors fees (please note that 20amp sites have a $200 charge for hydro). This is for 22 weeks of operation (May 13th until October 14th 2024). We may or may not open sooner or close later depending on the weather in the park at that time. We also provide a sewer pump-out service (up to twice weekly) that can be requested as necessary for $24.99 per pump-out.
PERMITTED OCCUPANTS
All reservations include a maximum of 6 guests unless otherwise stated. Rates are based on the maximum occupancy of the site. The individual reserving the site must be a minimum of 18 years of age and be physically present at the time of check in. Guests are not allowed on another site unless the owner of the site is present. Tents, RV’s, vacation rentals, etc. are not to be sublet to anyone at any time.
VISITORS
Seasonal Campers are responsible for their visitors and must also be present in the park during their guest’s visit. Seasonal Campers do not have to pay for visitors for the 2023 season.
Overnight campers must pay $10.99 per guest, per night for any guest over their booked number of guests as per their reservation. Each visitor must register at the welcome center with their name, phone number, email and license plate number. Visitors may stay overnight following their day access as long as the site does not exceed the maximum occupants and the seasonal camper is present for the overnight visit.
NO SUBLETTING of any site type or unit at any time. The subletting of any site type or unit will result in the immediate removal and permanent ban from all Great Canadian locations.
SITE CHANGES
You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with our main office and written approval will be provided if the request can be accommodated. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible at times.
AMENITIES & FACILITIES
Please remember that all amenities are on a seasonal and weather dependent schedule that may have limited hours during the spring and fall. We reserve the right to close any facilities at our discretion without prior notice. Please refer to posted rules and regulations throughout the property for additional information on our amenities.
QUIET HOURS
Our quiet time is from 11 p.m. - 8 a.m. daily, and from 12 a.m. – 8 a.m. on long weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun only), but please be courteous to your fellow guests during all hours of the day. During quiet hours, there is no loud talking, loud radios, loud televisions, use of gas golf carts or other loud noises allowed. The use of generators are not permitted on the property. We do enforce a curfew - anyone under 18 years of age may not leave their site or rental after 11 p.m. unless it is to and from restroom facilities accompanied by an adult.
RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBOR
Please be considerate of your neighbors' privacy and space. Do not walk on, or pass through the site of another guest. Respect our local culture, wildlife, and other guests. Please be mindful of our local bylaws and conservation of resources. Great Canadian Campgrounds is proud to promote an inclusive and family friendly atmosphere at all of our properties. Offensive or intolerant language and actions will not be tolerated, included with respect to race, religion, sexual orientation, or political views, and the presence or existence of any language, actions, visuals or symbols that may be deemed to be offensive will not be permitted on property. Park Management reserves the right to evict anyone not abiding by the rules. Only one warning for violation of the rules will be issued. If the problems persist, the person or persons responsible will be asked to leave the Park. Park fees are non-refundable under any and all circumstances.
PARKING
Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, ATV, golf cart, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.
RESTROOMS
Do not wash clothes, pets, dishes, etc. in restrooms. Restrooms may be closed at times for cleaning and maintenance, we appreciate your patience.
SHOWERS AND LAUNDRY FACILITIES
Showers are located in both restroom locations.
Washers and dryers are located in the main office building and are coin operated.
Laundry hours will follow our posted store hours.
Clotheslines are not permitted.
SWIMMING POOL
Pool hours are from 9am to 8pm or as posted. Splash pad and hot tub hours are the same. Any child under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Glass is not to be taken into the pool area. Please use the garbage receptacles provided. No Smoking anywhere near the pool area, on your campsite only. Pool rules are posted at the pool area and must be obeyed. There is no lifeguard on duty, you are entering the pool at your own risk.
SMOKING, VAPING & ALCOHOL
There is no smoking or vaping allowed in any of our rentals, restrooms and shower facilities, indoor facilities, common areas, or any outdoor amenities. Smoking/vaping is allowed on your own site as long as it is done so in a way that will not directly or indirectly impact the experience of other guests. All smoking products must be disposed of at your own site. Alcohol is permitted by legal drinking age adults as long as it is done so in a way that will not directly or indirectly impact the experience of other guests. Alcohol must be consumed in a responsible manner, and glass bottles are only permitted on your campsite. Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
SITE SAFETY
Open fires are not permitted at any time. All fires must be contained to your site’s designated pit/ring and kept under 2 feet in height. Please do not burn or leave trash in fire pits, and please do not move fire pits without written permission from the staff. Campfires are permitted from 8am – 1am. Never leave a fire unattended. County bans may occur and will be posted at the office.
Any chemicals or toxic materials must remain locked up at all times, or safely removed from the access of children or animals.
DRONES
Drones are only permitted beyond the bridge located at the river approximately 200m down our main nature trail. Please do not fly drones over people or RV’s.
PERSONAL SITE IMPROVEMENTS
ANY AND ALL work at a site is not to commence without written permission from the owner of the park and must take place outside of the following dates: June 15th through to September 14th. This includes digging, cutting of trees and branches, removing of shrubs, and/or making any changes to any form of landscape on your site, relocating fire pits, building decks, erecting gazebos or other structures, and any other construction type work, etc. Outside contractors are not permitted in the park without written approval from the park owner.
REPAIRS
Repairs to RVs are permitted as long as the repairs take place on your site. We are happy to recommend a local Mobile RV Repair service that comes out to your site to assist you with any repairs.
GRASS CUTTING
In order to facilitate grass cutting for those of you who have purchased this service, please move your picnic tables, lawn furniture, etc., to your patio or next to your trailer when you leave the park.
RUGS
For overnight campers, rugs bigger than 3’ x 2’ are not permitted as it kills the grass and we want your site to look good for both you and the next guest. Seasonal members can have rugs as long as the grass is taken care of upon exiting that site.
TRAILER AGE AND SALES
The maximum age for a trailer in the park is 15 years. Trailers older than 10 years of age cannot be sold in the park. The sale of any and all trailers at Great Canadian Campgrounds are to be handled by the park owner. This includes the showings, collection of payment, and approval by the park owner as to whether or not the new buyer(s) is allowed to become a seasonal guest in the park. A commission of 8% +hst will apply to all trailer sales. If you would like to sell your trailer on your own, you’ll have to remove it and sell it outside of Great Canadian Campgrounds property, in which your seasonal site will be forfeited at that time.
PETS
We are a pet-friendly resort but pets may not disturb other guests, and must be cleaned up after by owners. Pets must always be on a leash and restrained when not confined inside an RV, and that no pet may be left unattended outside of an RV, even on the site. There is a maximum of two pets per reservation. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. Management reserves the right to remove or restrict disruptive or aggressive pets. Upon check-in, please notify the office of your pets if you have not already added them to your reservation during the booking process. Pets are not allowed in the pool or pool area.
GARBAGE DISPOSAL
Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the dumpster. Please do not place your trash on the ground. Woodland creatures like possums and racoons are attracted to left out or disposed of food and while we think they are cute and wonderful animals, we don’t want you to find a surprise night visiting raccoon at your site because of incorrectly disposed of trash! Do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our trash cans.
SEWER HOOKUP
All sewer hoses must be undamaged, and sewer connections must be tight. Replacement sewer hoses and sewer donuts can be purchased at the welcome center or general store.
WASTEWATER
The discharge of any waste water (septic or grey water) is strictly prohibited. Formaldehyde products are not permitted.
PARKING & RESORT ROADS
Each paid guest registration covers one vehicle and one RV as determined by Great Canadian Campgrounds and as space allows. Additional vehicles, vehicle trailers, boats, etc. are $10 per day and subject to availability of parking in designated areas. All vehicles must have a parking pass from the office upon check-in. Please ensure your guest tag is visible at all times with your proper departure date. Towing is enforced at the guest’s expense. All guests must stay within resort property boundaries. No trespassing on neighbouring land is permitted.
SPEED LIMIT
The maximum speed for any vehicle at Great Canadian locations is 5km/hr. Please obey posted speed limits on the property. Failure to obey speed limits may result in removal from the property without refund.
TRANSPORTATION AND INSURANCE
Non-motorized skateboards, scooters, roller blades, roller skates and bicycles are permitted to be utilized as long as they are done so in a safe and quiet manner. Motorized items such as drones, motorbikes, hoverboards and similar motorized recreational items are prohibited. UTVs, ATVs, and large terrain vehicles are permitted in the park only for the purpose of connecting to adjacent trails, and helmets must be worn at all times, and proof of insurance is required for all motorized and electric vehicles. Only electric golf carts are permitted in the park.
GATE ACCESS
Any lost or unreturned gate cards will result in a $25 replacement fee. Gate access cards are only applicable at specific locations; not all locations are gated, or require a gate card.
GOLF CARTS
All guests must comply with the following rules governing the use of golf carts on property.
1) Each guest owning a golf cart is solely responsible for ensuring that all operators of the golf cart are a minimum of 16 years of age and possess a valid driver's license (moped licenses, learning permits, etc. are not acceptable).
2) Golf carts must have their lights (if equipped) turned on at all times while in operation after sunset. No golf carts may be operated after sunset without headlights.
3) Golf carts shall not be operated during quiet hours from 11 pm. to 8 am. Long weekends are 12 pm -8 am.
4) Golf carts must be operated properly. Horseplay, racing or other misuse of guest-owned golf carts will not be tolerated. Guest-owned golf carts are to be operated on gravel roads only. No driving through RV or tenting sites, or other restricted areas. Golf carts will not be driven on or through other camper’s sites.
5) Under-age drivers may not operate the golf carts. OPERATION OF GOLF CARTS WHILE CONSUMING OR UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL, MARIJUANA OR ILLICIT DRUGS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
6) A golf cart's maximum seating capacity must never be exceeded. Operators and passengers of a guest-owned golf cart must be seated at all times while the golf cart is in motion.
BICYCLES, SCOOTERS, AND OTHER NON-MOTORIZED VEHICLES/TOYS
In addition to following local regulations, we recommend that all riders wear a helmet while riding. Riders must obey the same rules of the road as a motor vehicle. When operating a non-motorized vehicle/toy after sunset, you must have a light on both the front and back.
FIREWOOD
Firewood is not allowed to be brought into the park at any time. It is sold in our main office.
FIREWORKS
The use of fireworks, including sparklers and explosives of any kind, are not permitted under any circumstances. Anyone caught with fireworks may result in removal from the property without refund.
FIREARMS & WEAPONS
Guests must obey all federal, state and local laws regarding the ownership and possession of firearms. Firearms are not permitted in any property buildings or common areas. The only exception is that guests may have a firearm in a locked, private vehicle in parking areas if permitted by law. The discharge of firearms, BB guns, air guns/rifles, or similar devices is strictly prohibited.
ELECTRICAL USE
You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. Amp usage over your specific site’s use can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.
Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.
SALE OF A TRAILER / MODULAR HOME:
Any trailer / modular home that is being sold in the Park must be listed with Park Management. A 5% commission will be charged to the selling party regardless of who sells the unit. All purchasers of trailers / modular homes that wish to become a seasonal Resident of the Park must be approved by Park Management before the trailer / modular home is sold.
GENERAL CONDUCT & REMOVAL
Guests are required, at all times, to comply with all rules and regulations posted at the property as well as directions of the resort team. We reserve the right to remove anyone in violation of these rules and regulations from the resort without a refund.

LIABILITY WAIVER
The undersigned, and the family members and/or friends in attendance with the undersigned hereby waive, release and forever discharge Great Canadian Campgrounds Inc., its affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, employees, staff, volunteers, heirs, executors, administrators, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns from any claims resulting from physical or personal injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability, loss or death, and any property damage that may occur caused by fire, theft, vandalism, water or land-related accidents, natural events or any other occurrences or mishaps. We are here of our free will, and entirely at our own risk. We understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise by our own or others’ negligence or conditions on the premises or the conditions or our use of amenities offered at the premises or related to travel to and from the premises. Nonetheless, we assume all related risks, both known and unknown. Great Canadian Campgrounds Inc. is not responsible for errors, omissions, acts or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity. I fully understand that this is a release of liability and I agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that I otherwise have to bring legal action against Great Canadian Campgrounds Inc., for any personal injury or property damage whatsoever for negligence on the part of Great Canadian Campgrounds Inc., its agents and employees. This waiver and release of liability shall remain in effect for the duration of my presence at the premises.
We further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Great Canadian Campgrounds Inc., against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney’s fees and any related costs.
